HOW TO GROW YELLOW PEAR TOMATO FROM SEEDS

Yellow Pear Tomato seeds do best if planted in rich soil; if necessary, you can enrich them with compost or fertilizer. The best results will come with slightly acidic soil. Plant tomato seeds in March or April, approximately six to eight weeks before the last frost of the winter, or earlier if you're growing your tomatoes in a greenhouse. Sow the seeds thinly onto good-quality seed compost. Use a fine rose watering can water lightly after covering with 1.5mm of compost. Wait until they have grown four to 10-15 cm. tall and the danger of frost is gone before planting outside.

CARE AFTER GERMINATION OF PEAR TOMATO

Give your plants plenty of space, about one meter between each. Please keep them in a sunny spot. During the summer, you should water them regularly and fertilize them a couple of times. Apply mulch to help keep the soil moist. Yellow pear tomato plants are indeterminate, meaning they can grow up to 2.5 m in height. You should make sure you prepare some support for your plants so they don't lie on the ground where they could rot or be more susceptible to pests. Around 70 to 80 days after you start your plants, you should pick ripe fruits.

PEAR TOMATO USES AND HEALTH BENEFITS

Fresh tomatoes are best, so be prepared to eat them right after you harvest them. Salads, party vegetable trays, or a snack right off the vine are great ways to use tomatoes. Moreover, yellow pear tomatoes contain vitamin C, niacin, folate, and potassium, which regulate blood pressure, nerve function, and muscle control. The best tomatoes require sun, well-draining soil, and nutrients. Before planting tomatoes, amend the soil with compost or organic matter.
