HOW TO GROW PINK ASTER TALL FROM SEEDS
Asters grow best in climates with cool, moist summers. When temperatures are warm, aster plants should be placed not to be exposed to the midday sun. Please place them in a sunny location. Use loamy soil that is well-drained but not overly moist. Prepare the soil by mixing compost into it before planting. To simulate winter dormancy, start seeds indoors in pots or flats and store them in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 weeks. Cold weather increases germination during this period. It would be best to plant seeds an inch deep in your soil in a sunny spot in your home. In the spring, plant young plants outside when the risk of frost has passed.
CARE FOR PINK ASTER TALL AFTER GERMINATION
The best time to plant young asters is mid-to-late spring. As soon as they are available in your area, typically in the fall, you can plant fully-grown, potted asters. Depending on the type and size of the plant, aster plants should be spaced 1 to 3 feet apart. When planting, provide ample water for the plants. After planting, mulch the soil to keep it cool and prevent weed growth. Bees and butterflies are attracted to Asters because they attract pollinators. You should keep an eye out for stressed plants and try a different watering method to lose flowers.
USES AND HEALTH BENEFITS OF PINK ASTER TALL
You can eat the blooms and leaves fresh or dried when eating asters. To relieve headaches, the Ojibwa would apply aster root topically. They would also use aster flowers for venereal diseases. The white color of asters represents innocence. Asters are red, representing devotion. Asters are pink in color, representing sensitivity and love. The late-season attracts many pollinating insects to them, and many birds and small animals find food and shelter in the seeds and dried stalks during the winter season.
