HOW TO GROW PENNYROYAL SEEDS

Herbs such as Pennyroyal are easy to grow. You can grow them from seeds or cuttings. You need light for the seed to germinate, but once it sprouts, it proliferates. Plant them in prepared seedbeds outside after all danger of frost. Sprinkle the seed on the soil surface and mist the bed with water to moisten it. Germination should occur in about two weeks with moist soil. 

CARE AFTER GERMINATION OF PENNYROYAL

As long as they receive adequate moisture, pennyroyal plants grow best in partial sunlight. However, full sun is also tolerated. Make sure the plant gets at least six hours of daylight each day. Rich, moist soil that has been amended with organic matter is ideal for their growth. That being said, the plant can also grow in clay or sandy conditions. Make sure to water it regularly for best results.

PENNYROYAL USES AND HEALTH BENEFITS

Pennyroyal is used to stimulate and deal with weaknesses for some people. It is applied to the skin to kill germs, keep insects away, and treat skin diseases. Additionally, it is used topically to treat gout, venomous bites, and mouth sores, as well as a flea-killing bath. Pennyroyal is prescribed for colds, pneumonia, and other respiratory problems despite serious safety concerns. Furthermore, it treats stomach pains, gas, intestinal disorders, and liver and gallbladder problems.
