HOW TO GROW RED ROSY MORNING GLORY FLOWER FROM SEEDS

Starting seeds indoors before your last frost date is optional, but you should begin with them between four and six weeks before your later frost date. Otherwise, you can plant them directly outdoors. Scarification accelerates the germination process for morning glory seeds, which are extremely hard to germinate. Then soak them overnight after rubbing them between two pieces of coarse sandpaper for a few seconds. Seeds should be planted around a quarter-inch deep and a few inches apart. It is essential to maintain a moist environment after sprouting the seeds.

CARE FOR RED ROSY MORNING GLORY FLOWER  AFTER GERMINATION

A moist but well-draining soil is ideal for morning glory plants. It is still possible to amend the soil if the vines are not doing well. You can keep moisture in your morning glories by watering them about an inch a week and mulching them around the roots. You can reduce your watering schedule once the plant is established (and in the winter), so it requires less water as it grows. Early morning glory is tolerant of both cold and heat despite its hardiness.

USES AND BENEFITS OF RED ROSY MORNING GLORY

This plant is also used for treating abdominal disorders, anthelmintic, fevers, headaches, bronchitis, diuretic, blood purifier, deobstruent, laxative, carminative, and anti-inflammatory.
