HOW TO GROW FROM SEEDS HERB LAVENDER VERA

It is perfect for sowing Lavandula Lavender Vera seeds from February to July on the surface of moist seed compost. The plants will rot if planted in the wet ground. Cover the seeds with a sprinkling of vermiculite or finely sieved compost. During germination, the seed tray can be sealed in a clear polythene bag or placed inside a propagator at a temperature of 21-25°C for up to 21 days. Keep the compost damp but not wet and do not exclude light as this helps germination. When handling the seedlings, transplant them into 7.5cm pots and grow lavender plants at a cooler temperature until well established.

CARE AFTER GERMINATION  OF LAVENDER VERA

It would be best to water your Lavender Vera plants regularly until they are established during their first growing season. This is especially important during periods of hot, dry weather. Lavender tolerates droughts reasonably well once it has been established. Lavender enjoys free-draining soil in full sun. A well-established plant can withstand chalky soils as well as dry conditions. As a seedling grows into a plant, you don't need to worry much when it comes to caring for Lavender Vera.

LAVENDER VERA USES AND BENEFITS

There are versatile uses of Lavender. A cake flavored with lavender tastes delicious. Add a few leaves to the sugar jar to make jams, jellies, sorbets, biscuits, and other sweet treats. Additionally, Lavender is well known for its calming properties and can be used to make homemade soap, candles, and bath oils that can help you unwind and fall asleep at night. Consider putting a few stems and using them as natural air fresheners instead of plug-ins or chemical air fresheners. A delicious sauce can be created by combining lavender flowers with vegetable stock.
