HOW TO GROW DENDROCALAMUS ASPER FROM SEEDS
Make sure to soak the Dendrocalamus asper seeds in lukewarm water for at least a day before planting. We recommend using coco pellets soaked in water and placed in plastic pots for sowing. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of peat (approximately 2 mm) and sow the seeds on the peat pellets. As much tap water as possible should be poured into the ziplock bag, along with a few drops of universal fertilizer, so that after the substrate has been absorbed, a few millimeters of water remain on the bottom. Once the ziplock bag is closed, seal it. There is no need to water more since no moisture evaporates through the ziplock bag. Depending on the species, it will take between 10 and 40 days for bamboo seeds to germinate. You can also make a greenhouse.
CARE FOR GIANT BAMBOO AFTER GERMINATION
Ensure the greenhouse receives more than ten hours of indirect sunlight per day. For seeds to become seedlings, they will need sunlight. Put your greenhouse away from direct sunlight to prevent seeds from being burned. Covering your conservatory with a lid would help keep it warm. Transplant them into larger planting containers once the seedlings are a month old. Plant the seedlings in a hole in the potting soil specifically designed for plants in an open-soil garden. Your bamboo plants would benefit from regular watering every second or third week.
