HOW TO GROW FROM SEEDS HERB FEVERFEW
You can quickly grow feverfew herb by purchasing seeds from Garden Paradise Seeds. It is easiest to plant the seeds in small pots filled with damp, loamy soil because they are very fine. August to September are the best months to sow. To settle the seeds into the soil, sprinkle a few seeds into the pot and tap the bottom of the pot on the counter. You may need to spray water onto the feverfew seed to prevent the seeds from drying out. Poured water may cause the seeds to move. In about two weeks, feverfew seeds should germinate in a sunny window or under a grow light. Approximately when the plants reach 7.5 cm. Once the roots have taken hold, plant them in a bright spot in your garden.
CARE AFTER GERMINATION OF HERB FEVERFEW
The only requirement for growing feverfew somewhere other than an herb garden is that the spot is sunny. Pollinators are not needed to pollinate feverfew, which can self-pollinate. It should be planted in a place that gets full sun or a bit of light shade. Plants grow best in sandy or loamy soil with pH levels between 6.0 and 6.7. According to climate, feverfew is either a biennial or a short-lived perennial. The seeds will bloom in their first year when they are started early.
SOME TIPS FOR FEVERFEW
Medicinal purposes include the treatment of rheumatism and migraines using feverfew leaves. There are ornamental daisy-like flowers on it—approximately 60 centimeters high. The plant grows perennially, so cut it back just after the frost and let it regrow in the spring. The plant re-seeds pretty quickly, so you are likely to be giving away new plants within two years. During the summer and autumn, the feverfew herb blooms.
